Job Description

Applications are invited for 2 JRF Mechanical positions for a project titled: “Brine splitting for energy efficient textile dyeing effluent reuse”

Essential Qualifications: B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil/ Chemical/ Environemntal/Textile Engineering or related areas. Candidates with BTech degree should have a valid GATE score.
Preferred skills: Experience running experiments involving fluid flow, heat and mass transfer
Strong background in thermodynamics and heat and mass transfer

(OR) Experience with characterization equipment such as ICP-MS, flourescence spectroscopy, etc. Exposure to textile dyeing process and knowledge of chemistry of the dyeing process

Other details: Position titles: Junior Research Fellow (× 2)

Compensation: Rs.31,000 per month

Duration of appointment: 1 year (can be extended for an additional year subject to
satisfactory performance and availability of project funds).
