Job Description

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the following project sponsored by DST-SERB (core grant),under the supervision of Dr Nitin Kotkunde, Department of Mechanical Engineering, BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad campus.

Title of the project: Enhancement of Mechanical Properties and Forming Behavior of AZ31 Alloy usingvShear Deformation Techniques for Automotive & Aerospace Applications 

Fellowship amount: 31,000 Rs/- for the first 2 years and 35,000 Rs/- for the third year. 

• Eligibility requirement: ME/M.Tech in Mechanical/Manufactring Engineering related streams with a valid GATE score.

• Desired expertise: Kowledge about basics of material testing, microstrcural examinations and manufacturing processes, codeing skills in MATLAB or other programabe softwares, Modelling and Finite element analysis

• Upper age limit: 30 years preferably (It can be relaxed for exceptional academic credentials)

• No of position: 01
