Applications are invited for the post of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at a Fixed Stipend/ Fellowship/Salary amount of Rs. 31,000/- per month, and 16% HRA in a DSTSERB sponsored project entitled "In-situ microscopy study of age hardening in dispersion strengthened cast magnesium alloys and its ex-situ correlation with mechanical properties"

Essential qualifications for JRF: B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.E. in Metallurgical Engineering/ Material Science/Ceramic Engineering/Mechanical Engineering with GATE or equivalent.

Desirable qualifications for JRF: M.Tech/M.E. in Metallurgical Engineering/Material Science/Ceramic Engineering/Mechanical Engineering with GATE or equivalent.

Duration of project: Three years

Age limit: The upper age limit is 28 years (relaxable for five years for the SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates); in case of non-research positions, the upper age limit may also be relaxed for the duration of earlier work in a project/scheme subject to the Institute’s rules prevalent at that time. All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules
