Job Description

Advt. No. : IITBBS/R&D/RP221/Rec/63/2019‐20  

Junior Research Fellow‐ 1 position 

Name  of  the  temporary  research Project : “Subsurface  variability  of  the  Bay  of  Bengal  from  observations and models: relationship with Indian Monsoon  and Cyclogenesis”.

Pay Scale: Rs. 31,000/‐ + HRA @16% per month  

Qualification & Experiences  : M.Sc.  or  M.Tech.  with  1st  class  in  Physics/  Mathematics/  Ocean  Sciences  selected  through  National  Eligibility  Test  (NET)**.  Final semester students may also apply. Result must  be declared by June 30, 2020.  
Desirable: Working  experience  in MATLAB/  Python/fortran  with strong background in Mathematics 

** NET Qualification:   i. CSIR‐UGC National Eligibility Test including NET‐ Lectureship  ii. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by MHRD  iii. Joint Admission Test (JAM) conducted by MHRD  iv. Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST), conducted by Department of Atomic Energy
