Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research
Fellow (JRF) in a Advanced Manufacturing and Technology (AMT),Department of Science and
Technology (DST) funded research project entitled “Large scale production of nanomaterials and
thin films for semiconducting devices and astronomical research”.
Emolument: The amount of JRF fellowship will be as per DST norms.
Essential Qualification: The candidate must be having one of the following
(i) MSc in Physics with experience in experimental condensed matter physics supported by
published journal papers
(ii) BE/B.Tech. or equivalent in relevant branches of Engineering/Technology like
Electrical/Electronics Engineering (EE),Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE),Information & Communication Technology (ICT),etc. and at least 2 years of postBE/B.Tech., research experience as evidence from published papers in standard refereed journals;
(iii) M.E./M.Tech. in relevant branches of Engineering/Technology like EE, ECE, ICT, etc.
Age limit: Maximum 30 years. Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/Women and physically
handicapped candidates as per Government of India norms.
Skills- synthesis of complex oxides, measurement of antenna properties, electronic properties
measurement, structural characterization of materials.
