Applications are invited for a research position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a three year DAE- BRNS funded project Analytical and Numerical Study of Black Holes in Strong Gravity Regime (58/14/25/2019-BRNS). The collaborators of the project include.
Eligibility: M.Sc. in Physics with 60% and above from a UGC/MHRD recognized University/Institution and qualified in at least one of the National Level Test UGCCSIR-NET(JRF/LS). GATE/JEST scores of 90 percentile of higher shall also be considered. Those eligible for INSPIRE fellowship may also apply.
Knowledge or working experience in General Relativity and Quantum Field Theory is essential. Programming skill in FORTRAN/ Python or Mathematica/Maple/Matlab is preferable.
