Unskilled Labour/JRF job Position in Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute on temporary basis

Candidates possessing the following qualifications and experience are invited for walk-ininterview for purely temporary positions of 2(two) Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and 1(one) Unskilled Labour under Project entitled “Assessment of endocrine disruption in fish reproduction.”

Junior Research Fellow / 2 Posts

Pay Scale: Rs.31,000/- + 24% HRA per month

Essential qualification : Post graduate degree in biotechnology/bioinformatics/zoology or any other branch of Fisheries science/life Science or postgraduate degree in professional course selected through any of the following: a) Scholars who are selected through NET CSIR-UGC including lectureship or GATE b) Selection through national level examination conducted by central government and their agencies such as DST, DBT, ICAR, DRDO, MHRD, ICMR, IIT, IISER, IISc, DAE, DOS etc. Desirable qualification Experience for Fisheries, biotechnology/ bioinformatics analysis will be preferred

Pay Scale : Rs.12,600/-

Qualification: 10th passed

Tenure : The position is purely temporary and for 01 (one) year only OR co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier. However, candidates are liable to be terminated at any time if their service, performance and conduct are found not satisfactory.

Age limit : Minimum 21 years and maximum 35 years. Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per rules.

Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute (CIFRI) celebrated National Fish Farmers Day at Head Quarter, Barrackpore on 10th July, 2015. The celebration began with floral tribute to Late Prof. Hiralal Chowdhury, the architect of 'Blue revolution' in India and the 'Father of induced breeding' technique who achieved the feat of induced breeding of a carp fish in India.
