We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented junior accountant to join our finance team at JR Compliance. As a junior accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organization. You will work closely with senior accountants and finance professionals to ensure accurate financial record-keeping, compliance with regulations, and timely reporting. Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the general ledger, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and company policies.

Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and accruals.

Process accounts payable invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments to vendors.

Assist in managing accounts receivable, including invoicing customers and following up on outstanding payments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports on variances, trends, and performance indicators.

Support internal and external audits by providing the necessary documentation and explanations.

Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.

Maintain and update financial records, including filing and organizing financial documents.

Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.

High level of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information.

Prior internship or entry-level accounting experience is a plus.
