Junior Android Developer

They implement strategies based on data and technology.

Job Overview

Our client is in a rapid expansion phase to enter into more content service offerings and engage a wide spectrum of content creators, and to power this they have a lot of exciting stuff planned, and to create them. Currently searching for an Android developer.
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, comfortable with uncertainty, flexible, great with people and isn- t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty. Every day is an opportunity to bring your vision to life, and to expand, learn, and grow. No idea is left unconsidered. No voice is left unheard.

Responsibilities And Duties

Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
Strong knowledge of OOPS concepts and Core JAVA
Knowledge of Kotlin
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

- Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as - touch-

Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
A knack for benchmarking and optimization
Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Familiarity with continuous integration
