Qualification : Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Mechanical Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent. Or Diploma in Electrical Engineering/
Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Mechanical Engineering of a recognized
institutions or equivalent with two years experience in any one of the
following field under Central Government /State Government / Government
undertaking. 1. Running and maintenance
of DG Sets. 2. Generation, Transmission and distribution of electricity 3.
Internal electrification of buildings.
Desirable : Preference will be given to those who have
satisfactorily completed apprenticeship training in Lakshadweep Electricity
Department.
Pay : Pay Level - 6 (Rs.35400) in the Pay Matrix
Age Limit : Between
18 to 30 years. (Relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST and three years for CBCs up to
40 years of age for departmental candidates with three years continuous service
for general category and 45 years for SC/ST and 43 years for OBCs and all other
categories of persons notified by the government of India from time to time).
The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the last date of
receipt of application ie.11.04.2019.

Pass 2. Computer Course minimum duration of one year of regular stream from a
State/Central Govt. recognized Institution/Board
Pay : Pay Level - 2 (Rs.19900) in the Pay Matrix
Age Limit : The
candidate should be 18 to 30 years of age as on 11.04.2019 (relaxable for SC/ST
candidates, Ex-Servicemen and other special categories of person in accordance
with the instructions or orders issued by Government of India from time to
time.) Crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for
receipt of application i.e. 11.04.2019.
Engine Driver/Attender/Lineman/Helper for Lineman/Helper for Meter
Testing/Mechanical fitter/Oilman/Mazdoor

SSLC pass. 2. ITI/ITC National Trade Certificate/ State Govt. Certificate
either in Electrician/Electrical Engineering (Two years course)/ Wireman (two
years course) or Mechanical Diesel (One year course) of regular stream of
Central Govt. /State Govt. recognized Board/ Institution.
Pay : Pay Level - 1 (Rs.18000) in the Pay Matrix
Age Limit : The
candidate should be 18 to 30 years of age as on 11.04.2019 (relaxable for SC/ST
candidates, Ex-Servicemen and other special categories of person in accordance
with the instructions or orders issued by Government of India from time to
time.) Crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for
receipt of application i.e 10.04.2019.
