5. Eligibility:

Deputation: Officers under the Central Government or State Government or Union Territories or statutory or autonomous organisation or public sector undertaking or university or recognised research institutions,-

(a) (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or

(ii) With six years regular service in level-5 in the pay matrix (Rs. 29,200-92300) in the parent cadre or department, and

(b) Possess the following education Qualifications:

(i) Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering from a Recognized institution, and

(ii) Two years of work experience in maintenance and repair of Electronics systems from Central Government or State Government Or autonomous or statutory organisation or public sector undertaking Or universities or recognised research institutes.

6. Nature of Duties:

i . He will be the in-charge of AV Section and supervise proper functioning of TVs, UPS and Cable TV Network.

ii.He will take up maintenance of all Televisions and UPS Systems(both On-Line) including preparation of proposals for new Purchases and repairs.

iii. Undertake all developmental works related to AV Section.

iv. He shall maintain all the registers related to Cable TV including repair and purchase of Set Top Boxes, Cable TV Control Room etc.

v. Any other works assigned by the Competent Authority from time to Time.

Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short-term contract) shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the last date of receipt of applications

The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA),trains officers of the Indian Police Service, who have been selected through an All India based Civil Services Examination. The trained officers will be posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in their respective states under whom the other sub-ranks of police force will be working.
