Conduct daily morning meetings @ 10:30 am amongst all department representatives.
Record actionable points of each department with Department representative name
Nature of task By when is it to be fulfilled? Any coordination to be reqd. by management or inter dept. coordination to be done? Take accountability of previous day’s open ended points in the meeting.
Undertake weekly review of all open ended points from each department with management and highlight critical points immediately for urgent attention.
Accompany KB during daily round of the plant with the agenda to:
Physically review utility activities undertaken
Ensure all Production boards, registers, formats; preventive maintenance formats are being filled out and undertake random checking of them each time by affixing your signature.
Check for overall production floor cleanliness, hygiene and material flow.
Check of wastages on production floor and waste pit.
Address maintenance related concerns and give decisions.
Initiate improvement activities and follow up on previous ones.
Random check on FG, WIP and Engg. Stores.
Ensure 5S is being followed.
Highlight any manpower concerns in the plant and address any worker concerns with dept. heads
Random check for mobiles, tobacco, contractor identification jackets or penalize and record.
Check for machine functioning and efficiencies that is production rate, conveyor working.
Check for scrap accumulation and processing in the plant.
Check for overall estate health i.e. building maintenance, paint, safety, barriers, spillages etc.
Take photographs and post on respective group for immediate action by their supervisors, record the same when you sit on your desk for regular followups and checking the next day and highlighting in morning meeting.
