Job Description

To recruit Junior Instrument Engineer / Junior Chemist/ Biochemistto work in Tea Board’s Quality Control Laboratory, Siliguri purely on contractual basis

Junior Instrument Engineer /  1Post

Qualification: B. Tech in Electronics and Instrumentation or allied subject.

1. Experience in high- end instruments operations like GCMSMS, ICPMS, LCMSMS, HPLC, GC etc.

2. 2-3 years experience in NABL Accredited Food Testing Laboratory (Food Division/ Analytical Section/ Instrumental Section). 3. Knowledge in Quality System Management. 

4. Experience in FSSAI Notified/ FSSAI Referral Laboratory will be preferred.

Pay Scale: Rs. 20,000/- (Consolidated)

Junior Chemist/Biochemist/  1Post

Qualification:  M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Biochemistry or allied subject.

1. Experience in analyses in Food Division. 

2. Practical knowledge in handling Gas and Liquid Chromatography.

3. 2-3 years experience in NABL Accredited Food Testing Laboratory (Food Division/ Analytical Section/ Instrumental Section). 

4. Experience in FSSAI Notified/ FSSAI Referral Laboratory will be preferred.

Pay Scale : Rs. 20,000/- (Consolidated)

Age: Not more than 30 years as on 01.10.2019

The Bill provided for levying a cess on tea exports - the proceeds of which were to be used for the promotion of Indian tea both within and outside India. The present Tea Board set up under section 4 of the Tea Act 1953 was constituted on 1st April 1954.
