Key tasks will include:
· Provide 1st line support to all UML Group staff through the Service Desk ticketing system
· Trouble shoot 1st line issues and assist end users with hardware and application issues
· Escalate any issues to the appropriate 2nd /3rd line authority
· Support colleagues based locally at their desks and internationally via remote access
· Configure and upgrade PC desktop/laptops and mobiles as needed
· Ready to give 24x7 Support if required.
· Supporting and assisting senior team members with diverse project work
· Maintaining/updating IT documentation as required
· Research and report on new products and solutions to ensure that the team stays up to date with the latest industry developments
· Assist the IT Service Desk Controller with day to day running of or resolution of any IT department issues
· Undertake any other duties of a similar level and responsibility as required from time to time, as defined by the IT Service Desk Controller or the Head of IT and Digital Services
