Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Junior Nurse to join our dermatology clinic. The Junior Nurse will assist in providing top-quality care to patients, support the medical staff, and ensure smooth clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care:
• Assist in patient assessments, including taking medical histories and recording vital signs.
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure care and education to patients.
• Clinical Support:
• Assist dermatologists during examinations and minor surgical procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform wound care and dressing changes under supervision.
• Administrative Duties:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage follow-up communications.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment.
• Patient Education:
• Provide patients with information on skincare routines, treatment plans, and preventive measures.
• Educate patients on the proper use of medications and skincare products.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with the dermatology team to ensure high standards of patient care.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Diploma or degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Valid nursing license.
• Skills and Competencies:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Empathy and patient-centered approach to care.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
