Qualifications :

i) Junior Software Developer / Junior Programmer

Educational Qualification: BE/ B. Tech (IT /CS/ ECE) / MCA / M.Sc (IT/ CS)

Desirable: a) Required Skills – JAVA/ J2EE, HTML 5, CSS, AJAX, JS / J Query, Spring, Hibernate.

b) Minimum One year experience in Database driven Web Application Development under Linux Platform with PostGreSQL/ Apache TOMCAT / JBOSS c) Knowledge MVC d) Hands on experience in Core JAVA, JDBC, Servlets, JSP. JavaScript/ JQuery. e) Hands on experience in using Eclipse, NetBeans. Note:- One post each will be filled with candidates having experience in the following fields. a. Data Scientist b. Mobile App Development Data Scientist candidates shall have minimum one year experience in AI/Analytics/Data Science/ Python/ UI & UX Design. Mobile App Developer should have minimum Two years experience in Mobile Application Design and Development (Android / iOS) with SQLite Database

ii) Assistant Software Developer / Assistant Programmer

Educational Qualification: BE/ B. Tech (IT /CS/ ECE) / MCA / M.Sc (IT/ CS)

Experience: a) Required Skills – JAVA/ J2EE, HTML 5, CSS, AJAX, JS / J Query, Spring, Hibernate.

b) Minimum Two years Industry experience in Enterprise Web and Enterprise Application Development using Open Source Technologies JAVA/ J2EE platform. c) Experience / Expertise in MVC Frameworks (SPRING/ Hibernate etc.) d) Hands on experience in Core JAVA, JDBC, Servlets, JSP. JavaScript/ JQuery. e) Hands on experience in using Eclipse, NetBeans.

iii) Software developer / Programmer

Educational Qualification: BE/ B. Tech (IT /CS/ ECE) / MCA / M.Sc (IT/ CS)

Experience: a) Minimum Three years Industry experience in Enterprise Web Application Development using Open Source Technologies JAVA/ J2EE platform. b) Experience / Expertise in MVC Frameworks (SPRING/ Hibernate etc.) c) Hands on experience in Core JAVA, JDBC, Servlets, JavaScript/ JQuery Bootstrap, JSON. d) Hands on experience in using Eclipse, NetBeans. iv) Senior Software developer / Senior Programmer

Experience: a) Minimum Five years Industry experience in Enterprise Web and Enterprise Application Development using Open Source Technologies JAVA/ J2EE platform. b) Experience / Expertise in MVC Frameworks (SPRING/ Hibernate etc.) c) Hands on experience in Core JAVA, JDBC, Servlets, JSP. JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, BootStrap, Hibernate, JSON. d) Hands on experience in using Tomcat, JBOSS Servers. e) Hands on experience in using Eclipse, NetBeans. Desirable: a) Two Year’s Experience in Web Application Development for Government Verticals.

v) Database Administrator

Educational Qualification: BE/ B. Tech (IT /CS/ ECE) / MCA / M.Sc (IT/ CS) with Certification in Open Source RDBMS management.

Experience: a) Minimum Three years Industry experience in Database Management (PostgreSQL) under Linux platform. b) Experience / Expertise in Indexing, Partitioning, Triggers, Stored Procedures & Functions, Replication, Master – Slave & Multi Master, Clustering, Tuning, Backup & Recovery. c) Experience in Database and Software Optimization d) Experience in Cloud Environment will be an added advantage.

The Department of Taxes is the major source of revenue of the Government of Kerala, accounting for the 3/4th of its revenues. The Department caters to 1,83,000 traders through 431 offices, including check posts across the state. The main goal of the Department is to ensure voluntary tax compliance through transparent and simplified procedures; to eliminate corrupt practices and embracing relevant technology for seamless accessibility to services and thereby ensuring trader participation in tax administration. The main activities of the Department are collection of tax, registration of dealers, recovery of arrears of tax, prevention and detection of tax offenses under a series of legislations enacted by the State and Central Governments. The critical functions of the Department such as filing of returns, payment of tax, issue of statutory forms, declaration of consignments etc., are now fully automated.
