CANDIDATE PROFILE :

Key attributes of the successful candidates would be :

  • Educational qualification- CA/ MBA degree from premier institute
  • Relevant experience of 5-6 yearsof relevant experience in asset management industry or institutional equities
  • Ability to truly understand and analyse the quality of a business and draw unique insights from the realms of commoditized investment research out there today
  • Ability to identify world class management teams and size up a company’s culture. Ideally, bring a deep network of senior level relationships in corporate India
  • Solid understanding of the philosophy of compounding rather than short-term return maximisation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills will be vital to present the insights that have been developed
  • An independent thinker that can demonstrate a commitment towards raising the bar in every aspect of the investment process
  • A personality that emphasises humility and respect towards the people they interact with, both within the firm and outside
  • Awareness of the risk of technology disruption and the potential impact on companies
  • Exhibit qualities such as diligence, persistence, patience and courage as great opportunities come rarely but then it is important to act decisively
