Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of ‘Junior Research Fellow (JRF)’ in a DBT funded research project with following details:
1. Title of the project: Glucose-responsive DNA capsule for insulin delivery
2. Name of the position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

4. Essential qualifications:
i. MSc (Chemistry/Biochemistry/ Nanotechnology/ Biotechnology) OR MTech/ MS (Biotechnology/ Nanotechnology/ Biomedical Engineering/ Materials Science and Engg.) from a recognized institute/ university or statutory body
ii. OR equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate score (6.5 grade points on a scale of 10); For SC/ST category, the candidate must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate score (6.0 grade points on a scale of 10).
iii. Candidate must have valid NET/GATE/BET score card.
5. Desirable: Work experience relevant to the project. Candidates with expertise in the followings are strongly encouraged to apply:
a) Organic and nanomaterials synthesis and characterizations.
b) Expertise in analytical techniques such as NMR, IR, UV-Visible, fluorescence spectroscopy.
c) Fluorescence microscope, AFM, TEM, SEM.
d) Advanced molecular biology and biochemistry.
e) Good communication skill and problem solving capability.
6. Salary: Rs 31000/- + HRA (as applicable)
7. Duration: 1 year or up to the termination of the project, subject to annual performance review.
