Job Description

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a SERB funded research project with the following details:

1. Title of the Project: Convergence and Coexistence Solutions for 5G and Wi-Fi 6: Transforming Wireless Connectivity

2. Name of the position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

3. Number of Positions: One

4. Essential qualifications: Candidates need to satisfy the following two criteria:

a. B. Tech./B.E./M.Tech/ME/MS in Computer Science and Engineering/ Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent OR M.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent OR M.C.A. from a recognized University or statutory body.

b. Qualified in any of the following National eligibility test/exam: a. GATE b. CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship)

c. National-level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.

5. Desirable: Having good knowledge of computer networks/wireless networks Programming skills in C/Python/MATLAB

6. Salary: Rs. 31000/- + 16% House Rent Allowance per month

7. Duration: The appointment for the above contractual position will be initially for a period of 01 year, which may be further extended or curtailed, based on the performance of the candidate, availability of funds in the project, and requirement in the project.
