Job Description

Applications are invited on prescribed format for the following assignment in a purely time bound research project undertaken in the School of Mechanical Sciences of this Institute.

Advt. No. : IITBBS/R&D/RP278/Rect/23/2021-22

1. Name of the Temporary Assignment : Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 1 Post

2. Name of the temporary research Project : Indigenous Development of a novel low‐cost Solar PV panel self‐cleaning device

3. Name of the Sponsoring Agency : Ministry of Science and Technology, Department of Science and Technology (DST)

4. Consolidated Emolument : Rs. 31,000/‐ + HRA @16% per month

5. Qualification & Experience : M.Tech in Thermal Engineering or equivalent OR B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with +2 years of Research Experience. Knowledge of CFD is desirable.

6. Period of Engagement : Initially for 1 year with possible extension depending on performance

7. Duration of the project : 2 years
