Job Description

University of Hyderabad (UoH) invites application for the position Junior Research Fellow

Number of positions: Two (02)

Fellowship / Honorarium Stipend in Rs 31,000/- per month as per the norms.

HRA, if applicable: 24% of Fellowship per month.

Tenure of the Post: Initially for One year. Extendable depending on the progress of the JRFs reviewed quarterly.

Essential Qualifications: Master of Science in Physics/Applied Physics/Material Science or equivalent in any discipline from reputed University/ Institution in India with 55% marks.  A valid NET/GATE score.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience
a. Skilled in optics/photonics, handling high energy ns & ps lasers and pulsed laser-matter interaction.
b. Skilled in material characterization such as FE- SEM, optical microscopy.

Age Limit: 28 years at the time of application with relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
