No. UH/PHY/GSV/DST-SERB-CRG/Project staff/2021

University of Hyderabad (UoH) invites application for the position Junior Research Fellow 

Number of positions: JRF one position

Fellowship / Honorarium / Stipend in Rs. JRF: Rs. 31,000/- for PG degree course with NET/GATE (equivalent) qualified or PG degree in professional course. For non-NET/ GATE candidates, salary will be fixed as per DST-SERB guidelines.

HRA, if applicable As per the norms of the DST-SERB

Tenure of the Post: The position is available initially for a period of one year and may be extendable up to three years solely based on the performance.

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc in Physics or relevant area with 55%.

Desirable Qualifications: Strong basics of Solid State Physics, Adequate Knowledge in Magnetism. Since the project is on theory, preference will be given to candidates having previous experience in electronic structure calculations.

Age Limit: 28 years maximum
