IIITDM Jabalpur jobs - Junior Research Fellow

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on the project sponsored by C3iHub, IHUB NTIHAC Foundation, IIT Kanpur, titled “Bot Prevention in Cyber Physical Systems”.

1. Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

3. Duration: The position is purely on a temporary basis, with an initial appointment for one year. Only one of the positions is extendable up to TWO more years, solely based on performance. Further, the candidate will be encouraged to apply to the regular Ph.D. program of the institute under Project Based Fellowship. Candidates selected in this category for the PhD programme will get the same stipend as of the project salary

4. Salary: Rs. 31,000/- only (Fellowship)

5. Essential Qualification: Candidates must hold M.Tech/ M.S./M.E. in CSE (Computer Science and Engineering)/IT (Information Technology) or in related areas. They must also hold B. Tech/ B.E./B.S (4 Years) in CSE/ IT or Related Area with 1st class or equivalent in BE/B.Tech. and ME/M.Tech with GATE/UGC NET. Note: Relaxation to SC/ST/OBC will be provided as per institute norms.

6. Desirable Qualifications: Candidates with working knowledge of cyber security/ malware analysis/ cryptography/ secure communication protocol development will get preference.

7. Job Description: To carry out research work related to bot attack study, set-up, experimentation, characterization, and designing and implementing solutions and other project related activities.

Preferably below 30 years as on the date of interview. Age relaxation is applicable for women candidates.
