Applications are invited from eligible candidates to work as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a Research Project funded by NRIDA, Ministry of Rural Development in the Department of CSIS, BITS Pilani, (Pilani campus),Rajasthan. The details are as follows

4. Project Description:
i. This project is aimed at developing Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning based solutions for “remote health assessment” of Indian roads via drones and aerial-imagery. It is a highly interdisciplinary project and the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) would get an opportunity to be guided by the project investigators during his tenure.
ii. The candidate would get an opportunity to work on state of the art hardware like NVIDIA RTX, NVIDIA Jetson Nano, Ninja/DJI drones, etc. As a part of the project, the JRF will also get an opportunity to collaborate with leading researchers in India and across the world.
5. Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- per month consolidated Note: Non GATE/NET candidates may be considered for lower emoluments
6. Essential Qualifications:
a. M.E /M.Tech in Computer Science or Equivalent degree
b. Good written and spoken English, and experience of technical writing.
c. The candidate should have sound conceptual knowledge and hands-on experience of Machine learning.
d. GATE/NET qualification preferred but not mandatory
e. Candidates with prior knowledge of road survey and/or drone-based survey will be given preference
