Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) invites application for the position Junior Research Fellow 

Project: 'Some Compact Commutator Problems in Operator Theory.'

No. of Post: 01

Qualification: Ph.D. in Pure Mathematics is strongly desirable. Those with M. Sc. in Pure Mathematics with some research experience is also eligible to apply.

Desirable Experience: Candidates must have a background in Pure Mathematics with specialization in Functional Analysis. Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory. Candidates with prior research experience in the theory of compact operators and matrix theory will be given preference.

Salary range: INR. 31000.00 (consolidated) The position is temporary for a period of one year. Duration can be extended at the end of the year based on satisfactory performance. The duration of this project is three years.
