Project title: DBT Pan IIT Center for Bioenergy - Phase 2

About the project: Cyanobacteria have attracted attention as sustainable biofactories for producing important chemicals from atmospheric carbon dioxide. The project focuses on the production of fuel alternatives as well as platform chemicals from engineered cyanobacteria and scaling up the production.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:Candidates with a Master's in Biotechnology/ Molecular Medicine, or an equivalent branch of Life Sciences from a recognized university.

Candidates should qualify for national eligibility tests like CSIR/ UGC-JRF and have a valid GATE score.
Experience in working with proteins or enzymes, and handling SDS-PAGE is desirable. Candidate should have a good academic record and excellent written and oral skills.

Job Profile:
1. Performing experiments towards project objectives in a collaborative team environment. 2. Regular maintenance of laboratory equipment
3. Compiling data and preparing reports for submission to the funding agency.

Pay Details: Consolidated salary Rs.31000/- p.m.
