Applications are invited from Indian citizens for a temporary post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the DST sponsored project in the Department of Electrical Engineering, NIT Silchar

1. Title of the project: Sustainable Energy System for Achieving Novel Carbon Neutral Energy Communities (Sustenance)

2. No. of posts: 01 (One)

3. Duration: 42 Months (extension based on performance review every 12 months)

4. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow

5. Essential Qualification: B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech./M.E. in Electrical / Electrical and Electronics Engineering from recognized University and should have GATE/CSIR-UGC NET/ qualified through National level examination according to DST guidelines

6. Desirable Qualification / Experience: 

Candidates having M. Tech degree and having hands on experience in developing and working on hardware / laboratory prototype especially on Power Electronic Converters will be given preference. Throughout First Class in academic career is preferred.

7. Emoluments per month/Salary: Rs. 31,000 + 08% HRA per month (if accommodation is not provided by the Institute).

Age Limit:
35 Years, SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN/PWD/EWS candidates will get relaxation as per Govt of India Rules.
