Job Description

Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) invites application for the position Junior Research Fellow/ Senior Research Fellow

No of Post: 01

Salary: Rs. 31000 + 24% HRA and Rs 35000+ 24% HRA from 3rd year

Qualification:

a) Post graduate degree in (Bio technology/ Genetic/ Plant Breeding/ Botany or related field of plant sciences) and have been selected through a process described in CSIR - HRDG (csirhrdg.res.in) and CSIR Office Memorandum (O.M.) No. 38(1507)/21/EMR-II Dated 22/06/2021 i.e. scholars who are selected through UGC-National Eligibility Test, CSIRUGC-NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship),GATE or

b) The selection process through national level exam conducted be central government departments and their agencies and institute such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICSR, IISER etc. OR

c) A post graduate degree in a professional course (M Tech Biotech etc.) with desired experience (CSIR - HRDG (csirhrdg.res.in))

Name of Projects: Fine mapping of recessive leaf and stem rust resistance gene in wheat-rye recombinant stock "selection 212"-Funded by CSIR

Age Limit: Maximum age 35 years for SRF/JRF (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC)
