Junior Software Developer 

We are looking for a Python developer responsible for managing our Folksmedia application

and interchange of data between the server and the mobile application. Your primary focus

will be the development of all server-side logic, ensuring high performance and

responsiveness of API and the underlying platform. You will also be responsible for

integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the platform; therefore, a

basic understanding of HTTP and REST concepts is necessary as well.

● Develop and maintain software applications using Python and web frameworks.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement and test new features and functionalities.

● Write clean, maintainable and efficient code.

● Debug and fix issues as they arise.

● Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.

● Assist in the development of technical documentation.

● 1 year of experience in Python and Web frameworks like Django, FastApi

● Basic knowledge of AWS and Git

● Ability to grasp new technologies and languages, and apply to solve real-world problems

● Good knowledge of Computer Science concepts

● Good knowledge and understanding of Data Structure and Algorithms

● Pursuing/Completed Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline (MCA is also fine)

● Good communication skills

● A positive and collaborative attitude

● Familiarity/Industry-Experience in Python

● Understanding of version control systems like Git or Mercurial

● Understanding of linux and containerization platform like docker

● A portfolio on GitHub

● Experience with Hackathons

Interview on Google Meet / Zoom Video call  &/Or  coding assignment. Internship is for 2 months and option to convert to full time based on performance.
