Job Title: Key Account Manager 

Department: Vision care                     

Reports to (Job Title): National Sales Manager


 Job Purpose:

·         Develop and implement end-to-end Key Accounts strategy for identified and selected accounts.

·      Handle High end Client & Digital Media.

·         Company Interface with assigned accounts for all matters including marketing imple-mentation, extend total support, ensuring that both customer and company objectives are met.

·         Efficiently Manage accounts, develop long-term customer relationships, understanding key customer requirement to create business opportunities.


 Major Activities:



1. Achieve agreed sales targets and gross profit contribution for assigned Key Accounts by successful implementation of JBP’s (Joint Business Plan).

2. Develop strategies including complete marketing initiatives and prepare plan to op-timize account development and sales growth.

3. Identify development opportunities and increase unit growth and profitability with a surge in market share for agreed accounts.

4. Consumer Acquisition plan and implementation at each account by Implementing customized programs and coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders.

5. Individually responsible for deliberations, negotiations and end-to-end solution pro-vider for assigned accounts.

6. Driving in alignment with ZSM/RSM, all India sales team to achieve door level pene-tration and market share growth.

7. Ensure effective account coverage and constantly build on possibility of adding more accounts.

8. Provide customer support on programs, build loyalty through continuous engage-ment, and reach initiatives.

9. Drive Professional Education and CME’s to constantly upgrade KA ECP’s covering each door at least twice a year.

10. Responsible for adverse event and product complaint handling related activities at a local level including the collection, intake and forwarding the information to the Local Vigilance Representative).

11. Adherence to all corporate compliance guidelines & corporate programs by self and team 



Key Performance Indicators:



1.Account growth Vs Prior year

2. Account sales actual Vs Forecast

3. Account share number

4. Brand wise Market share growth

5. Implementing customized Marketing programs.

6. Successful implementation of programs /activities

7. Relationship index with external key decision makers


Education (minimum/desirable):

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited reputed educational institution. MBA  from a Tier 1/2 insti-tute.


Languages: Written and Spoken fluency in English and Hindi
