Job Description

General requirement

  1. He should have a degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in hardcore Sales preferably by specifying products to design/engineering departments
  2. He should be BE Mechanical/Production engineer + MBA.
  3. Should have working exp. in the specific region requested for (Mumbai)
  4. Responsible for business development for the required region.
  5. Need to travel at least 10-15 days in a month not on a continuous basis at least 5-6 days on a stretch
  6. Notice period strictly 1 month, please don’t send the candidate if they don’t agree for 1 month notice period.
  7. Please check Core behavior: Initiative and drive Teamwork, Relationship oriented and this is a must as it has to fit into the culture of the company. Candidates should be ambitious and passionate.


Specific skillsets:


  1. Job requires to specify our products through design/engineering departments, hence a lot of technical understanding and excellent communication skills are required.
  2. Need to work with R&D, engineering team, designers and suggest various solutions from our standard product range.
  3. We also, make products as per customer requirement, KAM should be able to understand the customer requirement and send feedback to the engineering team in India, UK and also coordinate on his specific projects.
  4. He should be able to read drawings, understand technical terms and communicate technically.
  5. Need a go-getter who can strive for business.
  6. Pleasant personality and relationship building skills.
  7. Understanding the General engineering industry and the region is a must.


Guidelines to what type of industry you should look for


  1. We are looking for hardcore salesperson involved in the selling of highly engineered premium products
  2. People who sell products to machine tools, industrial equipment’s, selling Engineering equipment’s, automation industry, etc. to any the industry as they have to be technically sound to do business with People from a similar industry who work with designers and specify the product.
  3. Companies which supplies products to OEM and these products are part of the main product as it involves a lot of design considerations and understanding.
  4. In short, people who do value selling of highly engineered technical products are what we require.
