o   Troubleshooting desktop / laptop OS issues. 
o   Support for standard software issues, workstation Software image(s),base Software components, Hardware devices and components that comprise the standard desktop Hardware.
o   Isolate system issues; diagnose standard software issues and report hardware issues to respective Vendors. 
o   Installation / re-installation / configuration of systems, printers, scanners. 
o   Configure desktop and laptop as per the desktop/laptop standardization policies of customers. 
o   Installation / re-installation / configuration of in-scope client software / applications 
o   Installation / configuration of e-mail clients 
o   Troubleshooting e-mail client-related issues 
o   Troubleshooting printer/scanner related issues  
o   Troubleshooting issues related to standard office software (MS Office Word, Xls, PowerPoint etc.) and internet client 
o   Support for local area network issues (LAN),DHCP client 
o   Install antivirus software and check virus definition auto-updates 
o   Install approved patches onto desktops/laptops. 
o   Configure Print Queues for Servers / Users / Groups 
o   Troubleshoot print queue-related issues 
o   Configure appropriate rights and permissions for accessing printers 
Remove virus from respective desktop/laptop with the antivirus software
