Job Description
Advertisement for the post of Laboratory Assistant -SERB Funded Research Project
Applications are invited for the post of one Laboratory Assistant to work on the following research project funded by SERB at the Department of Civil Engineering, GBPIET, Pauri Garhwal (Uttarakhand)
Title of the: Strength Characterization of Geomaterial and Slope Stabilization Solutions for Hilly areas
of Uttarakhand.
Project duration: 2 years (24 months, the post is co-terminus with project)
Name of the post: Laboratory Assistant
No. of post: One
Eligibility: Three years' diploma in Engineering & Technology (Branch Civil Engineering) with
minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA
Emoluments: Rs. 20,000/- per month (Consolidated, No HRA, Candidate have to manage boarding and lodging on his own)
Age limit: Maximum 50 years (for general category). Upper age limit relaxations up to; 5 years for SC/ST/Women and physically handicapped candidates, and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Desirables: B.Tech. in Civil Engineering, Candidates who are well trained/experienced in Geotechnical laboratory tests and instruments, analysis of results will be given preference.
