Laboratory Asst./Sr.Technical Asst. recruitment in The CDFD (Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics),Hyderabad

Project titled :“Identification and characterization of genetic lesions causing Lynch Syndrome in India”

1) Sr.Technical Asst.

Essential qualifications: M.Sc degree in any branch of life sciences. OR B.Sc. in any branch of life sciences from a recognised university with 5 years of work experience in recognized Institution 

Desirable qualifications: Experience with routine molecular biology experiments including DNA / RNA isolation, cloning, and regular and quantitative PCR; Cell Culture; H&E staining and immunohistochemistry. 

Upper Age Limit (only for fresh recruits): 30 years

Consolidated Emoluments: Rs. 32,000/- p.m. 

2) LABORATORY ASSISTANT

Essential qualifications: 10th class or equivalent with five years experience in related field from a Government Institution or recognized Institute or certificate of one year training in the relevant area or ITI or National Trade certificate of National Council for Vocational Training and successful completion of ATS in relevant trade from a Government recognized board.

*Intermediate with science subjects and B.Sc. shall be treated as equivalent to 2 and 3 years experience respectively.

Desirable qualifications: a. MLT or DMLT degree b. Experience with routine laboratory work such as making of reagents, bacterial and cell culture media, autoclaving, washing laboratory ware, etc. in a recognised life science research laboratory 

c. Ability to converse efficiently in Telugu in addition to proficiency in reading and writing. Ability to read, write and speak Hindi, Urdu and English. 

Upper Age Limit (only for fresh recruits): 28years 

Consolidated Emoluments: Rs. 17,000/- p.m.
