Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to develop your career within a Global TIC business.

This position will be based in Ghatkopar West , Mumbai.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation of internal and client requirements
• Supervising allocated staff and being responsible for the day to day management of the relevant discipline
• Operating complex mechanical testing equipment
• Maintaining accurate and systematic records
• Performing other duties to fulfil the demands of the laboratory
• Performing general duties in accordance with Element's internal procedures, quality as well as Health and Safety system
• Application of instrumentation and the setting up of complex data capture equipment
• Report writing, data interpretation and analysis
  
  

Skills / Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Metallurgical Engineering/Industrial Engineering with 0-2 years of experience
• Hands on experience in UTM, Instron, Heat Treatment furnace is preferred
• Self motivated Technician with the ability to multi task, organise and work under the pressure of a busy commercial mechanical test laboratory
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A team player attitude
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
