Salary not disclosed We are looking for a Senior Laravel Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You will be part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
As a Lead Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries and frameworks like Bagisto. We are not looking for a 9-5 person – we are looking for a tech ninja who is passionate to work on any development project that comes on the way.
If you are also familiar with Agile Methodologies, we would like to meet you.
Senior Laravel Developer Duties Include:
1. Participating in the design and creation of scalable software and web applications 2. Writing clean, functional code on the front- and back-end 3. Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues
Responsibilities
1. Help design, create and build new software features that increase the value and usability of the software
2. Reviewing and assessing existing code and design improved approaches to current elements
3. Research, assess and implement new technologies that will enhance the product
4. Design, develop and test APIs for integration with 3rd party products
5. Review and ensure application and API security are robust
6. Attend weekly meetings with the Manager of Development to discuss all technical aspects of the product and business.
7. Help plan and facilitate coordinated release cycles.
8. Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
9. Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
10. Test software and web applications to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
11. Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
12. Create security and data protection settings
13. Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
14. Write technical documentation
Requirements
1. Proven experience as a Laravel Developer or similar role
2. Experience developing Web and mobile applications
3. Familiarity with common stacks
4. Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and frameworks (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
5. Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. Laravel, Code Ignitor, PHP, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js, Vue.js)
6. Knowledge of multiple e-Commerce framework (e.g. Bagisto)
7. Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB),web servers (e.g. Apache, GCP, AWS, Heroku) and UI/UX design
8. Knowledge of Cloud Hosting (e.g. Google cloud, AWS)
9. Knowledge of Project Management Tools (e.g. Jira, Slack, Salesforce)
10. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
11. Need to possess great attention to detail
12. Organisational skills
13. An analytical mind
