About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: (across Maharashtra)
A small team of 5+ people per location who are locals of that area will make a project report under the guidance of the Undertrial Welfare Association. Below are the basic data points required to make the project report:
List of people inside prison in their area. Once we have data then we can categories them as per their crime and who all need lawyers and financial support
List of police station in their area
List of CP, Jt CP, Addl CP, DCP, ACP, Sr PI, and all investigation officers ( 2 Star ) in your area in all police stations
List of courts in that area with court staff working in those courts. Name and designation
List of top 5 lawyers per category in their area (Criminal, Murder, Dacoit, Rape, Posco, 498A, NDPS, Civil, Real Estate and more)
List of RTI activists in your area
Undertrial and prisoner families and problems they are facing currently.
List of honest police officers in your area
List of all the wards in your area
List of Corporator, MLA, MP, District Magistrate, Municipal Commissioner, and other high government post people
5 changes Undertrial want in the prison in your area
Once each team has collected the above information post that we will be making a project report for each location and accordingly as per the requirement the centers' donation collection will be done and work will start in each location across Maharashtra.

Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 14th Sep'20 and 19th Oct'20
3. are available for duration of 6 months
4. have relevant skills and interests
