Scope of Responsibilities :

  • Develop, partner and maintain strong working relationships with key business stakeholders in marketing and other cross-functional areas to ensure that the marketing operations team is exceeding expectations and providing 100% advocacy to internal business clients
  • Perform contact data imports including end-to-end data quality and accuracy into Oracle Eloqua marketing automation to support Demand Marketing initiatives
  • Manage assigned deliverable timelines while thoroughly understanding end to end processes, cross-functional touch points and business implications
  • Define and implement data acquisition and update activities to maintain database at desired coverage and quality levels
  • Conduct gap analysis and data quality assessment to determine the status of existing contact database
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining process, procedures & documentation for key assigned projects/initiatives
  • Analytical reasoning and scientific approach to problem solving, while maintaining large-frame view of business value
  • Must have a passion for quality and process improvement
  • Ability to design systems and methods which automate tasks and free resources for strategic focus
  • Develop and maintain scripts and queries to import, manipulate, clean, transform data and create analysis and reporting
  • Ability to extract and analyse data out of Oracle Eloqua and SalesForce.com for troubleshooting and reporting
  • Perform quality assurance on generated results to ensure accuracy and consistency 
  • Implement new systems/processes in order to streamline and enhance efficiency and effectiveness to improve database health
  • Communicate cross-organizationally to ensure integration, coordination and validation with stakeholders

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of related experience in a database marketing or sales operations role (software industry a plus),preferably in a high tech environment including an emphasis on marketing automation and database health
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience with Oracle Eloqua data automation programs; additional related Marketing Cloud Products are a plus
  • Proven experience with relational database design and operation – including normalization and development using SQL or other query development tools 
  • Understanding of data preparation and integration concepts; experience with related products such as Alteryx, SSIS, Informatica are a plus
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, decision making, organizational and time management skills with an emphasis on a high attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with sales and marketing personnel, all levels of management and experience working across multiple functional groups
  • Strength in strategic data interpretation and visual representation of data
  • Exceptional MS Office skills, Excel (Complex Formulas, Pivot Tables & Charts),Word, PowerPoint

Education/Training Preferred :

  • Experience working with Oracle Eloqua and SalesForce.com; preferred 
  • Knowledge of B2B Database Marketing, preferably in High Tech/Software industry
  • Bachelor's or equivalent in Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Economics or related field
