Job Title: Lead Generation Intern
Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Lead Generation Intern to join our team. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in marketing and sales, with a focus on generating leads to support our business growth initiatives. The selected candidate will work closely with our marketing and sales teams to identify and qualify potential leads through various channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify potential leads through online sources, social media, and industry directories.Compile and maintain prospect lists based on target demographics and criteria provided by the sales team.Conduct outbound lead generation activities, including cold emailing and cold calling, to introduce our products/services to potential clients.Assist in the development and implementation of lead generation campaigns and strategies.Utilize CRM software to track and manage lead information, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.Collaborate with the marketing team to create content and collateral to support lead generation efforts.Qualify leads by conducting preliminary assessments and gathering relevant information to determine their level of interest and fit for our offerings.Schedule appointments and demos for the sales team with qualified leads.Monitor and report on lead generation metrics and KPIs, providing regular updates to the sales and marketing teams.Assist with other marketing and administrative tasks as needed to support team objectives.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with potential clients.Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to lead generation.Basic understanding of sales and marketing principles.Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus but not required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges.Prior internship or work experience in sales, marketing, or customer service is a plus but not required.
