Job Description

Role: Lead Product Designer

Roles and Responsibilities: As a Lead Interaction Designer you will be responsible for the following :
  • Get insights from customers that can translate to a value proposition.
  • Lead projects from start to finish and manage issues that impact design.
  • Deliver detailed design flows and specifications, ensure product excellence throughout the product development and implementation process.
  • Define design direction in close collaboration with Designers, Researchers, and Writers to define the approach, tone, personality, ease of use, end-to-end flows.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to define user needs, opportunities, and product requirements.
  • Provides hands-on mentoring and leadership to Interaction Designers, Visual Designers, and User
  • Researchers about the design process, methods, and tools that are best suited for that project and client/stakeholder.
  • Ensures design team is delivering world-class deliverables and outcomes to the internal and external stakeholders.
Experience & Skills
  • Around 6 - 8 years of work experience in B2C startups or B2C Product Companies.
  • Must have a strong background in Interaction/User Experience Design or any other professional design background. Should continue to be hands-on as an Interaction Designer.
  • Has a demonstrable portfolio of work that reflects the breadth & depth of skills as an Interaction Designer and Design Lead.
  • Experience working with Tools like Figma, Sketch, Invision. Adobe Suite etc
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Excellent problem solving and multi-tasking skills
Qualifications: Bachelor's/ Masters degree in Interaction Design or an equivalent design field.
