2. Lecturer (Sr.) (Consultant) /04

Qualification: i. P.G Degree with not less than 50 % Marks. ii. M.Ed. in Special Education (MD/ASD (Full time Course) with not less than 55 % marks. iii. Minimum one year of experience in Teaching/ Research in the field of Rehabilitation iv. Valid RCI Registration

Pay Scale: Rs. 39, 600/- Per Month (Consolidated)

3. Lecturer (Sr.) (Consultant) /02

Qualification:i. P.G Degree with not less than 50 % Marks. ii. M.Ed. in Special Education (VI/HI/MD) (Full time Course) with not less than 55 % marks. iii. Minimum three years of experience in Teaching/ Research in the field of deaf blind iv. Valid RCI Registration OR i. P.G Degree with not less than 50 % Marks. ii. M.Ed. in General Education and B.Ed in Special Education (Db) / D.Ed Special Education (Db) (Full time Course) with not less than 55 % marks. iii. Minimum one year of experience in Teaching/ Research in the field of deaf blind iv. Valid RCI Registration

Pay Scale:Rs. 39, 600/- Per Month (Consolidated)

4. Asst. Professor (Consultant) /05

Qualification: i. P. G Degree with not less than 50 % marks. ii. M. Ed in Special Education (MD/ASD) (Full time Course) with not less than 55 % marks. iii.Minimum two years experience in teaching/research in the field of rehabilitation. iv. Valid RCI Registration. OR i. Post Graduate Degree with not less than 50 % marks. ii. M. Ed in Special Education (Full time course) having dissertation in ASD/MD with not less than 55 % marks. iii.Minimum five years experience in teaching/research in the field of ASD/MD. iv. Valid RCI Registration.

Desirable : M. Phil /Ph. D in Special Education or Education with research emphasis on Special Education.

Pay Scale: Rs. 44,000/- Per Month ( Consolidated)

This decade led to the emergence & proposal of the PwD (1995) Act and the National Trust (1999) Act in India. After the proposal of National Trust Act (1999),focus was given to Persons with Multiple Disabilities and there arose a need to start a National Institute exclusively for Empowerment of persons with Multiple Disabilities.
