Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop curriculum for nursing courses and write syllabi
• Hold lectures and discussions on topics ranging from basic nursing skills to complex medical, ethical and practical issues
• Assign and grade homework
• Supervise practicums in labs and clinic
• Stay current with developments in the field by completing required CME each year

Desired Candidate Profile

Intrested Candidate Must be M.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing

• 0-4 years of experience in clinical environments or teaching
• Registered Nursing or transferable by endorsement from another state
• Master of Science in Nursing Education or Bachlor of Science in Nursing Education is strongly preferred
• Must have training as nursing with demonstrated history of success in a classroom environment
• Demonstrated motivation to stay current with new developments in the field

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
