Roles amp; Responsibility:

·Lawgraduate is mandatory, Masters is preferred but not mandatory

·SupportingContract management

·Legalsupport amp; advise for Vision Care business

·Minimum:3-5 years of experience; ideal experience is 4 years

·Experiencein contract management is a primary requirement

·Litigationexperience would be preferred but is not mandatory

·Candidatesfrom Law firms are suitable if they have contracts experience

Major Accountabilities:

1.Vettingof Legal Agreements.

2.Draftingof Agreements - Agent Agreements,Settlement Agreement, DistributorAgreement, Leave amp; License Agreement, Lease Agreement, MOUs ,Consignment Agreement…etc.

3.Litigation:including, Coordination with Advocates in filing suits pertaining to NegotiableInstruments Act, Civil Cases, winding-up, criminal matters, sending Notices tovendors for Payments, Communication with Government Authorities on legalissues, managing cases related to Customs and Service tax matters includingappearance before Court amp; Tribunals on behalf of the Company.\\

4.Supportin assessing the major legal risks for Alcon India and develop, execute riskmitigation plans.

5.Adviseon Pharma/ Drug Laws, including D amp;C Act, CDSO regulations, NPPA Mattersetc.

6.Adviseon Foreign Exchange Management Act and RBI procedures for various foreignexchange transactions and filing of various statutory returns

7.Supportingrole in all governmental and/or similar audits and investigations, ensuringproper support.

8.Responsiblefor adverse event and product complaint handling related activities at a locallevel including the collection, intake and forwarding the information to theLocal Vigilance Representative.

Key interfaces include:- Marketing Team,Sales Team and HR function; Regional/Country Compliance Function, RegionalCompliance Head.
