SkillTally jobs - Full-Stack Developer

SkillTally is a Start-up in the skill assessment arena, offering online tests to measure the user's efficacy on soft-skills like communication, leadership, etc. In future SkillTally will offer assessments on functional and technical skills like project management, software coding, etc.

We are looking for a Full-Stack developer, competent in Python, Django framework, Ubuntu Operating System and Speech-to-Text APIs.

Ideal candidate should be able to join immediately and handle the further development and support of our products, independently. The candidate is expected to 'work from home', with in-person meetings, when required. The role will provide lot of opportunities for learning and growth.

The ideal candidate for Full-Stack Developer at SkillTally, should be a quick learner and competent in:

• Developing web applications using Python and Django.
• Hosting, managing & maintaining the web application on a self-managed Virtual Private Server (VPS),using Ubuntu Operating System
• Integrating open-source 'speech-to-text' and 'text-to-speech' APIs with the web application
• Developing and improving the UI/UX design

Primary Tasks:

• Take complete handover from current developers of the entire existing system - backend and frontend and be able to manage the existing platform independently.
• Independently test all available features and identify bugs and suggest enhancements
• Independently fix bugs, issues raised by the client and implement enhancements
• If required, coordinate with current developers to fix major bugs & major issues raised by the client.
• Develop new features with guidance from the CEO & Founder and current developers
• Effective maintenance of the security of the platform and online payment gateway
• Provide technical assistance to the CEO & Founder during product demos

Desirable Tasks:

• Manage SkillTally's Microsoft Office Apps like – Office 365 Admin, Outlook, etc.
• Provide technical assistance to the CEO & Founder in managing SkillTally's accounts on Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
