Assists with providing reader s advisory, reference and general information to patrons; assists in providing assistance and instruction regarding the use of databases, catalogs, and computer applications.

Assists patrons at circulation desk; checks materials in and out; registers patrons; processes hold requests; collects fines and fees.

Empties book drop.

Collects and compiles statistics, as assigned.

Follows cash management procedures.

Assists in the assessment and repair of damaged items.

Shelves circulated and in-house materials; reads shelves to ensure accuracy of material placement.

Works a rotating schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays or at other branches as assigned.
