Librarian job recruitment in  Kazi Nazrul University on Direct Recruitment Basis

No. of Post :  1(UR)

Eligibility :  i. A Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in UGC seven point scale and consistently good academic record. ii. At least 13 years as a Deputy Librarian in a University library or 18 years experience as a college Librarian. iii. Evidence of innovative library service and organisation of published work. iv. A minimum score in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) as stipulated in the UGC Regulations 2016 in Appendix III Table VII.

Desirable :  A M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree in library science/information science /documentation /archives and manuscript keeping.

Pay :  Rs. 37,400 - 67,000/- with AGP Rs. 10,000/-

Age Limits :  ii) Age limit for the post of Librarian may be followed as per the Govt. of W.B. Rules/ Guidelines / Order in this regard and their amendments from time to time.

Application Fee : Rs. 1000/- (One Thousand only) for UR and Candidates belonging to SC/ ST /OBC-A / OBC-B are exempted from paying application fee.
