Librarian job Position in West Bengal Health Recruitment Board

Direct Recruitment to the post for Librarian under Director of Health Services West Bengal

Online applications are invited from Indian Citizen and such other nationals as declared eligible by the Government of India for recruitment to the Post of Librarian under Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal.

The relevant rules and necessary particulars are stated in the following paragraph: A candidate should verify from the notified rules that he/she is eligible. The condition prescribed cannot be relaxed. The recruitment will be made by selection, but where a large number of applications are received, as a result of Advertisement, the Board may, for the purpose of short‐ listing, hold a preliminary examination.

Qualification: A. Bachelor’s Degree in any Discipline with Diploma in Library Science from any recognized University, or

B. Master’s Degree in any Discipline with Diploma in Library Science from any recognized University.

Age : 18‐39 years as on 1.1.2019, or as per existing Government Rule.

Fee : Candidates must submit the application fee amounting to Rs. 160/‐ (Rupees one hundred & sixty) only through Banks participating in the GRPS West Bengal under the Head of Account ‘0051‐00‐104‐002‐16’.

For candidates having essential qualification of Bachelor’s Degree in any Discipline: Pay Band 3, Pay Band Scale Rs. 7100/‐ ‐‐ 37600/‐, Pay in the Band Rs. 8370/‐, Grade Pay Rs. 3900/‐ , Basic Pay at Entry Point Rs. 12270/‐ of ROPA 09 (Scale 10 of ROPA 98),and B. For Candidates having essential qualification of Master’s Degree in any Discipline Pay Band 3, Pay Band Scale Rs. 7100/‐ ‐‐ Rs. 37600/‐, Pay in the Band Rs. 8650/‐ , Grade Pay Rs. 4100/‐ , Basic Pay at Entry Point Rs. 12750/‐ of ROPA 09 (Scale 11 of ROPA 98)
