Job Description

Job Description: Automation Engineer (Lighting Control Systems)

Lighting System engineering and design including finalizing equipment selections and functional & operations checks
Candidate has the opportunity to work with latest in lighting technology and engage with global OEMs
Familiar with lighting automation features and requirements to work out solutions for clients
Expertise in LED light fixtures, LED Drivers and comfortable working with different makes and models of fixtures
Programming the automation of lights as per client needs
Creation of Lighting connection drawings and functional descriptions
Supervision of the system installation and project management work
On site Supervision/commissioning and testing of automation systems and field devices
Keeping up to date with automation system technology, integration solutions and industry trends


Key Skills:
A good practical background or qualification in Electrical connections and Lighting Control.
Expertise in Lighting Automation systems (like DALI Controls, Lutron)
Proficient with computers, basic software programming with some understanding of IT networks (preferable but not compulsory)
Working Knowledge of Lighting Software like DiaLUX (or equivalent),AutoCAD etc will be a bonus
Able to deal confidently with a wide cross section of individuals and entities
The ability to absorb technical system / product knowledge and provide training to others
Experience in C­Bus and DALI communication protocols and systems
