Job Description For Developer Role In LabWare LIMS Project.

LIMS Developer for LIMS - M&E project would be responsible for below activities but not limited to :

Configure standard templates (Sample , Analysis , Project , Batch , etc.) , design subroutines , debug and further enhance LabWare Modules
Write , analyze , review , and rewrite programs , using workflow chart and diagram , and applying knowledge of computer capabilities , LIMS subject matter , and symbolic logic.
Perform or direct revision , repair , or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
Have strong working knowledge on LIMS Basic programing language and SQL scripts writing skills.
Write , update , and maintain subroutines packages to handle specific jobs such as tracking inventory , storing or retrieving data , or controlling other equipment.
Integrate Interface applications with LabWare by implementing new functionality.
Correct errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the application modules to ensure that the desired results are produced.
Conduct trial runs of implemented modules and data to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct.
Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions , inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program.
Prepare detailed workflow charts and diagrams that describe input , output , and logical operation , and convert them into a series of instructions coded in a computer language.
Co-ordinate with external systems like SAP and MES on integration with LabWare LIMS
Participate in Design & Build reviews and incorporate changes as per review comments.
Write Installation Verifications and work for Business Approvals.
Execute approved installation Verifications in LIMS environments including Production Environments.
Have working experience on Client-Server enterprise environments using Citrix Web services.
Have good understanding about Infrastructure components such as Database , Windows , Citrix , Network servers etc.
Have good written and oral communication skills and should be able to consult with managerial , engineering , and technical personnel to clarify program intent , identify problems , and suggest changes. Location
