The ideal candidate will design, organize, and modify the company's computer systems. This individual will evaluate and assess systems to ensure they are operating effectively. Based on assessments, this individual will harness collected knowledge and make adjustments to existing systems. 

Qualifications

·         Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or Diploma

·        2 - 3Yrs ' experience as System Administrator ON Linux Platform

·         Strong analytical skills

·         Work Location - ELECTRONICS CITY

Roles and Responsibility as System Administrator

·         Managing user accounts and giving share & security level permissions.

·         Network operating systems and user management and support.

·         Database management and support.

·         Back-up and disaster recovery measures.

·         Contributing to technical strategy, policy and procedure.

·         Production of technical documentation to agreed quality standards.

·         GoodResponsible for creating new Microsoft outlook accounts for new users.

·         Network switches and firewall Management.

·         Antivirus server administration (Preferably Trend micro office scan & Symantec).

·         Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems.

·         Introducing and integrating new technologies into existing data center environments.

·         Performing routine audits of systems and software.

·         Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.

·         Installing and configuring new hardware and software.

·         Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.

·         Responsible for troubleshooting Internet issues.

·         Responsibility for documenting the configuration of the system.

·         Troubleshooting any reported problems.

·         System performance tuning.

·         Ensuring that the network infrastructure is up and running.

·         The DHCP Server role allows the server to provide IP addresses and other settings to network clients

·         The DNS Server role allows the server to provide host name to IP address resolution for Internet names, as well as hosting name resolution for local domains.[

·         The Group Policy Management feature allows administration of Group Policy objects through the Group Policy Management Console.

·         Responsible for the installation of software’s like antivirus, MS-office, adobe & acrobat reader etc.

·         VPN connection/remote desktop to particular location.

·         WDS creation and maintains.

·         Working with NCD (NComputing Device) L230/300/MX 100 device.

·         Good Knowledge on FTP,SFTP server administration (Preferably WS_FPT server).

·         Basic knowledge on SQL database administration.

·         Good knowledge on File server administration.

·         Good Knowledge on IIS server administration.

 Technical Skills

·         Network processing, centralized and distributive network connection.

·         Installing, configuring and administering network technologies.

·         IP addressing and subnetting, Routing concepts.

·         Router: Basic Configuration & monitoring.

Back-up and restore of all critical resources including router & switches IOS,

Hardware

·        Computer assembling and maintenance.

·         Troubleshooting hardware and software problems.

·         Installing and configuring the peripherals, components and drivers.

·         Installing software and application to user standards.
